I just swapped in a T56 in my '91 Camaro RS (Throttle body 350). I got the speedometer working correctly with a Dakota digital SGI-5 but when I sit at an idle, the SES light comes on. Once I take off, the light goes out. Code 24 (Circuit fault in vehicle speed sensor) shows up in the computer. What would cause this?

 

I had the sme problem with my T/A when i did the gears. Dak. Dig did not know what the problem was...but since I got mine off a friend that "F"ed his car up (I didn't pay for it)it wasn't a big deal to me to buy the proper gears from GM for the trans and problem went away. I originally thought it had to do with the digital dash in my car but if your car does it also then that might not be it.

 

Anyone else have a similar problem?
