Governer from a V6 is the same right?

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 307
Governer from a V6 is the same right?

I also got a governer from a v6 today. TransfixLeo was telling me I should get a governer that is set for the gear ratio the rear end is, the six had 3:42s. I know it fits and eventually when the 700r4 gets installed it should be GTG right? No funkey v6 calibrated shift points right?

Yep, that's the one. It will give you nice WOT points too if you have a winder. IF you don't then you will probably want to get a B&M Gov calibration kit and experiment with it to get the right WOT point.
