What torque converter for a bone stock 305?

Ok, I bought a rebuilt 700r4 from a friend that has just about 1500 miles on it and my own trans is acting weird. So I want to put in the rebuilt 700r4 and a new converter at the same time because my actual trans and converter are beyond 100k miles (bought them on ebay three years ago for cheap cause my trans had a broken case).
Which one to choose? My engine is a completely rebuilt but bone stock 305 TPI with a 3.23 rear in my 92 firebird. Should I just buy a "no-name" but matching stock specs converter from RockAuto?
I am a sunshine driver, no racing, no drag, just cruising with very light throttle like a grandpa on sundays. I got a Boss Hog Night Stalker 48441 with the rebuilt transmission that has just about 700 miles on it, but I am a bit concerned about the higher stall speed.
I want the car feeling like stock when cruising around...

Thanks guys!

For a bone stock 305 probably anything 2200 or less will feel bone stock while driving normally.

My 3000 drove totally normal behind my 305. Just had a narrow power band. Worked fine though.
