American Powertrain Hydraulic Clutch
American Powertrain Hydraulic Clutch
I have a 1983 Camaro that had the Z-bar clutch linkage. I know I can't use a regular third or fourth gen clutch master because there aren't any reinforcing bars going to the firewall. The American Powertrain conversion kits is supposed to be able to work because it has a stiffener plate. Has anyone here used this kit and is it worth installing? Or should I go ahead and get 4th gen pedals and master cylinder?

I never tried the conversion kit but lots of people have added the stiffener plate when doing auto to manual conversion
