I have one, and I like it a lot. It definitely shortens up the throws. I expected the stock shifter to have shorter throws, I was actually dissapointed at the length of them, so I went and got a Ripper and I'm pretty happy with it.

I suggest the Pro 5.0 shifter. I have heard nothing but great things about it. One is definitely high up on my list of things to get.

I've never had one on a T5, but both of my T56's have them and I like it. I've heard nothing but good things about the Pro 5.0 as well.

Hurst seems to be a hit or miss. Some of their shifters are good and some are not so good.

Yeah, it's good. I put mine in, and it's WAY more solid, and way shorter. Lot better action. Lets you rip through 'em like never before. Caution: Use of B&M Ripper may cause hallucinations, such as one is driving 4-banger rice due to ease and speed of shifting.

I have the Ripper, which is a day and night difference compared to stock. I suspect any after market shifter would be quite good.
