Kick down hesitation/stutter
Hello,
I've been having some stutter with the kick down on my 87 Camaro for a while, and since it wasn't very bad at all I just kind of assumed they were a bit slow by "design".
However today while overtaking someone going 19mph I hit the gas pedal down to the floor to get the kick down, and it hesitated with complete power loss for a solid 1-2 seconds before finally kicking down and accelerating me away.
The car both shifts and engine runs completely flawlessly otherwise.
I'm pretty new to working on cars and am not sure what could cause it, could it be something simple like a vacuum leak or stretched cable?
Thankful for any tips,
Linus

Can you feel if the Secondaries are delayed in opening?
