Rear end swap in my '79

I have a 79 with a 2.8 V6 and I'm wanting to put an 8.8" rear end in. I know it probably isn't my best choice but it was given to me so I might as well. What problems am I gonna run into with this?

Find a 2nd generation F-body forum...

Re: Rear end swap in my '79

Maybe he has an '89? I don't think the 2nd gen ever got the 2.8.

I'd pass on the 8.8. Way, WAY too much fabrication to get one in a third gen...and with a 2.8L engine, there's no upside to the swap.
