I have a 86 305 700r. Speedometer didn't work, so no torque lock. But trans shifted perfect. Got speedometer working, torque lock luck up started working. But it locks in 2,3,4. Doesn't seem to unlock when shifting, and bogs my engine down through town or hills. OD also is kicking in around 30/35. Since converter lock is ecm controlled, but not shifting, what keeps the converter from staying locked during down shift?
