Re: T5 T56 flywheel
Yes and no. It depends on the clutch setup. For me- no, I have an 86 and up stock flywheel and a ram 82-92 dual disk and a hydraulic release bearing w my t56. I have a ls magnum f with a quick time bell. Others use different setups.

Re: T5 T56 flywheel
The LT1 T-56 (93-97 F body) flywheel is different from the T-5.
Some others can use a stock T-5 one. Some can't.
Details matter. It's not a blanket yes/no situation.

Re: T5 T56 flywheel
They look similar but are not the same. The surface of the 93-97 is noticeably taller. This is for the reversed clutch disc hub to clear flywheel bolts.
Though there are some custom, or non-stock parts that can be used together, those are best used by an owner-mechanic with experience. If a shop gets tired of having to think to install something, they will pass the buck onto the owner.
