4l60e Compatibility.
I own a 2003 Silverado 1500, 5.3 4l60e
I just swapped in a 4l60e freshly rebuilt from a 2007 Silverado which had a singular 11 pin connection for the Neutral Safety. Because my truck’s harness has the dual connector for neutral safety, I swapped my old NSS onto the 4l60e to make sure it aligned with my harness. Upon install completion, my “prnd321” would only go as low as 2, and I couldn’t get the vehicle to move in any gear. I double checked torque converter, ensured that the pump was working and building pressure, and my thoughts as of now is that the NSS isn’t communicating properly. RPMs drop when trans is engaged into drive, fluid level is correct, I am just plain stumped.

Re: 4l60e Compatibility.
The cars this board is exclusively devoted to (82-92 Camaro & Firebird) never came with a 4L60E.
Try a forum that caters to your vehicle. Maybe performancetrucks.net for example.

How is everything going?
How the hell do we get rid of this TRASH from our forums?
