700R4/4L60 transmission pan…
I want to restore my original transmission pan back to new again. It has some areas of corrosion on it. The pan seems to be painted or powder coated in a silver metallic. Would powder coating be good enough? Or, do I need to get something like a high temp jet hot coating to handle the heat?

There's not really any heat to handle. Powder coating would be fine. It shouldn't ever exceed 225° or so, worst-case; and should be more like 180 - 200 most of the time.
