I Have an auction that is closing soon

The rear has Disc brakes, factory posi, and 3.08 gears. Everything I need but it is from an 81'. If modification is needed please tell. I'm headed to B&N to try and figure out some things.

The complete diff itself, No. Only a third gen diff will fit in a third gen. Second gen difs are for leaf springs so nothing will bolt up. A second gen diff should also be wider. As for the internals the 81 10 bolt is either a 8.2" or 8.5" I don't think the 7.5" was offered in 81 so you couldn't even use the posi.
