Can someone point me in the right direction to the VSS wire location in dash please? I need to install a Dakota digital box and I rather intercept the wires before the ecu. Really not trying to take apart random dash pieces exploring.

Why not hook into c207 ?

 

 

I'm not sure what you mean by c207 but my pinout show c1-b10 for the 7730. I may just do it at the ecm, just want to see my options.

okay, it’s literally next to the ecm

 

I guess with the 35 year old wiring harness, i wanted to disturb it as least as possible..... especially, if for say, the vss wire passed behind the radio or something.

It’s output to ip, before is at the ecm yellow and purple

 

Really appreciate the help. Decided to tap the a6 wire for power and hook directly to ecm. I see you suggested on another post. Up and running and works like a charm.

Also, I had jumping at idle with the setup. The cure....
RUN B11 DIRECTLY FROM THE SGI-100BT instead of from the 7730.
