is the tranny doctor a good performance rebuilder or does he have a reputation for putting out sub par quality

 

Man,I would suggest you skip out on this guy. I called and talked to them when I was going to get a new tranny and I was not immpressed at all. When I called and talked to them about a tranny and stall converter,I told their so called tech guy that I wanted to get a 9.5 inch converter,he tells me that theres no differnce in a 9.5 and a 12 inch. I said well a 9.5 inch is alot lighter than a 12 and he told me that makes no differnce at all Then I asked what kind of parts they use and all he could tell me was top of the line parts,no kinda of name brand,just top of the line.
