Transmission: T-56

diff cover to count axle

can i just take off my diff cover to count my axle spline. or do i have to take out the axle. i looked at a 85 camaro service manual and it said it takes 4.5 hours to take an axle out. is this the same for my car?

have to take the axle out, it should take you 15 minutes to have the axle out

How many times are you going to ask this question?
The average person could take an axle out and put it back in well within two hours.
