stupid question....

i know this is a stupid question but does any one know what oil to use for a posi rear. i do know that you have to have the additive. i just need to know what oil. thanks alot

I like to use 80w90 non synthetic. And of course only GM posi additive. Most gear oils are fine, they say on the bottle for use in conventional and limited slip diffs. API GL-5

Thats what I meant. If you can't find gm additive get ford, it's the same thing.
