Best Trans Rebuild Kit

im looking at which rebuild kit to get for my Th350, huges makes a good one but they dont make there race kit with the kevlar clutches anymore, also TCI has a OK kit and was looking at the GER one that has a nice price and they say will handle some power, im looking for what kit im going to need, car will be pushing some power so nothing cheapy.

Around 550 horsepower with the 9.5" or 10" torque converter.

are your rebuild kits something a guy could do himself?Or would it be best left to a tranny shop?

It is something you could do yourself with the right tools and an ATSG book, still you should have someone who is familiar with automatics to help you on this.
