I just took my car in and had the tranny serviced on Weds, (my bird is a 305 w/5 speed automatic). Every once in a while before then when I had been driving for an extended period of time, I would have shift problems where it would upshift and downshift rough and too soon. The mechanic said the fluid was pretty burned but he didn't say anything else unusual like metal flakes Anyhow, on Thursday it was acting up really bad and hasn't shifted roughly since then but it still seems to be upshifting a little too soon. Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated, trying to avoid a rebuild if I can.
