T56 Clutch Question

I have the standard clutch in my T56 swap, damn throwout bearing was $100. On the LT4 pressure plate, does it come with the throwout bearing. Just wondered because if it does, it is cheaper than a standard LT1 clutch.

Yes the LT4 pressure plate comes with the throwout bearing. I was able to get a complete LT4 clutch set (disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing) for $320 from a local parts wharehouse. It was made by Sachs (OE). I've heard that even from the dealer, the LT4 pressure plate comes with the throwout bearing. Not sure what it costs though.

Yup, the LT4 PP comes with the throwout bearing on it even from GM.

If I remember correctly, I don't think you can get the pressure plate without the throwout bearing. I think its made on to it.
