limited slip going bad?
limited slip going bad?
both tires spin fine when doing break stands and stupid stuff like that...until it rains. When the roads are really slick, sometimes I'll nail the gas and it's like there's so little traction that limited slip doesn't have time to ingage, and only the back-right spins. Is it going bad? I don't know much about how the limited slip works, but that's what it feels like. If it is, is there a good replacement I can buy anywhere? thanks guys. -Brian
My friend had the same problem...it is a pin that goes into the rear to make the other tire worrk, and it is probably worn out. I perosnally am getting an Eaton posi unit put in, it is not a limited slip it is a true posi....you can find them in most magazines..( Hot ROd, Car Craft and Super Chevy)..I hope this helps a little
