what trany

how do i tell what trany i have in my 91 305 tpi camaro is it a 700 or 200

the only automatic transmission that came with a 91 was a 700r4, if it was a manually tranny then it would have been a t-5.

ok u guys are missing the point here i know i got a 700 cuz u guys told me now how do i tell a 700 if it is sitting on the ground in a junk yard

It has a rectangular pan, a four pin plastic connector on the drivers side, a round servo behind the dipstick on the passenger side, it'll have MD8 cast into the side by the dipstick hole. Here's a good picture.
