The best high end converter??
Ok guys, I was reading a post over on LS1.com about converters and which ones are better, blah blah blah. Well i figured that we need to make our own post about which converter brands work the best on our cars. The guys over there all used to run Vig's, but they started switching to Yanks and now are seeing better ET's and droping a few tenths off their 60' just by swapin converters. So what experiance do you have with the better converter brands, i.e. Vigilante, Yank, Coan, Art Carr, etc? I am really leaning towards a Coan cause they have awesome tech help and I hear nothing but good things about them. what do u think?
FWIW
TCI - 3500 stall, 10 inch converter. 11.59 at 118 MPH. 1.70-1.75 60'
Swapped to roller rockers, Aluminum wheels to the rear and a
Dynamic Convter - 4500 stall, 8" converter. 11.01 at 122 MPH. 1.50-1.55 60'.
I hate when I change more than one item at a time, but I kinda had to with the above combo.

yank and art carr are really the only companys that make converters for the LS1 cars, for a regular TH350/400 or possibly even the 700r4 the coan units are fantastic also the ati tree master is a great converter, also hughes makes a good unit.
