Transmission cooler, will this fit? Please respond asap!

Hey guys, Im going to order a Raptor Jr. Transmission, which comes with a free transmission cooler.

The dimentions on the cooler are 12 X 7, 1/2 X 3/4

Will this fit in front of my radiator? The transmission shop said they would install it for free, if it does fit.

I have A/C, 1986 IROC Camaro, 305 TPI in case you need to know.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like a good size...make sure they install it before the heat exchanger in the radiator......not after...

Ok, where is the heat exchange in the radiator? The guy doesn't sound like he want's to install it, so i want to be able to show him where to put the thing.

Will this be going beside the a/c cooler radiator thing? or will it be inbetween it and the radiator?

Thanks for the quick responce!

Times like this makes me wish I had a digital camera, Ive got a cooler a bit biggert than that. Yes it will fit infront of the condenser. Remove the X staps infron of the AC condenser (4 10mm bolts 2 on the bottem and the other two can be accesed by opening the hood) and slide it behind the X starps then. All of this can be done easily just jack the car up a couple of feet slide under the front and your GTG.

find the output line of the transmission, the one that goes to the stock tranny cooler (heat exchanger). Install the auxillary cooler BETWEEN the tranny and the stock tranny cooler (heat exchanger), then connect the auxillary unit to the stock cooler. And leave the return line unaltered.
