manual tran shifter bracket

82 Z28 4spd I have checked all local scrap yards and have had no luck in finding this bracket. The bracket holds the shifter in place while shifting. Those slams into second have taken their toll and the bracket has split from the front top bolt down and the braket pivots with a shift into 2nd/4th. Any help without a weld job?

You might have to buy an aftermarket shifter... Hurst makes, or at least used to make, a Comp Plus for that application.

which is yours, a Saginaw or a Warner?
