26 spline axle?

i saw a posi unit for sell that is a 10 bolt 7.5" dia and will fit 26 spline axles. how can i tell if i can accept this in my iroc

I think pre 88 10 bolts have 26 spline in them. I have 26 splines that came from an 86.
