Okay my tranny started acting funny today. First of all, it is a rebuilt tranny with only 20,000 miles on it. Today when I was driving it, it acted like the torque converter was slipping. It would take off fine, but then at about 20 or 30 mph, it would jsut start revving, like it was in neutral. I could tap the gas and rev it up and it would catch for a second, but then free rev again. I limped it home and checked the fluid, but its fine. What the heck could it be? Do I need another new tranny? If so, did my 400 break it?
