When replacing the servo, does the tranny have to be lowered slightly to allow the shaft and piston to come out without hitting in the tunnel, or is there a trick to taking it out that I don't know. I have the assembly from the spring and e-clip forward out, but need the rest.

Yeah, I've recently decided to put a corvette servo in my car. I got the cover and 4th piston, e clip, washer, spring, and part of the housing out no problem, but I ended up having to take out the trannie mount and loosen up the crossmember some and swing the trannie driver side a little bit to clear for the shaft to drop out. It was kind of a pita, but it had to be done.

I was about to post the same question. Now I know what I've got ahead of me tomorrow evening.
Removing the distributor cap is a bit of a pain with that SuperCoil on there...
