Which wire is powered?
I have a 700R in an S-10 swap, and just use a toggle switch to power the lockup manually. It has been awhile since I pulled my old trans and I need my memory refreshed. Is the outer front pin the one that gets powered?

See https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=97795 - been going through that myself.
I can't go out to the garage and look right now, but I believe that's correct. If you have a multi-meter, check between the various contacts and ground - the correct circuit should be open to ground. But, depending upon the type, the 4th gear circuit could either be zero resistance or open to ground. The resistance between the solenoid power and return should be between 20-30 ohms.
The return pin should be the one by itself.
