What wires actually go to trans for...
What wires actually go to the tranny for the TC lock-up? I have 3 wires running from that area, up my firewall and into the engine bay. I have no idea what these are for. Someone cut them from whatever harness they came out of
. One is like peach/tan with black stripe, one is like turqoise (spelling?), and one is pink.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

You don't say what year your car is, and things may have changed over the years. But, mine is an '86, and the colors are tan/black, light blue, and purple.
The purple is the power to the TCC solenoid circuit. The tan/black is the actual lock-up command (the ECM grounds the tan wire to complete the circuit). The light blue is 4th gear indicator.
Again, not certain if things changed over the years, but that's what mine is. It's very fresh in my memory, because I've been struggling with it in the past two weeks (just got it working for the first time last weekend).
