I dont care for going to much faster then that where I live and dont get on the highway much. If it should make a differece in acceleration from 0-80 I'm all for it. + I could change them out if I didn't like them.

80mph isn't much with an overdrive tranny especially. if thats your limit you could get away with alot of gear. 4.11's easy.

Go to the equations section of this site. Plug in some numbers and play with the gear ratio..that should give you a rough idea of how much you're willing to live with.

4.11 like Jester said, but 3.7x's would be better IF you want to ever go faster than 90mph, if not......4.11's

Check the tech data on the home page and it lists cars by years, my guess would be either 2:73s or 3:08s.

I agree with them about getting a 4.10 or a 3.73.

Well, If you're only after 80 mph. Go with 488s or 513s, since with 488s at 6000 rpm, and a 700r4 top end should be around 120 mph. Go to the calculator at 700r4.com and type in your info. But don't forget about air drag. Mine shifts into 3rd at about 80 mph, with 373s. Don't know what it'll run topped out, I'll never have it topped. 130 does me just fine.

There is a calculator link on the home page here. Eventhough he wants to go fast, I"m sure he doesn't want to kill his gas milage, so those gears might be a bit steep.
