Tranny Fluid Leak, Help

Ok, I have a 85 Camaro 2.8 V6, With the 700R/4 Transmission, Right where I put the tube for the dipstick into the transmission I have a leak (seal maybe?). All that's put in there is the tube, There's nothing to stop the leak, It's only when I park on a slant where my car is leaning to the right or left. What is this?

There a hat seal that goes between the dipstick and trans. Around here they sell them at the chain stores in the motormite help section, in the red boxes.
Clean eveything with brake cleaner and put a light coat of silicone on it before installation. Jack the car up high on the passenger side to move the fluid away from the hole while you're working on it.

You should not need any type of sealer with the mushroom seal (as we call it). Just put either a little oil or Vaseline on it to help it to slide in.
