You and everyone else on this board wants a S/C for their car.

How about this...(I know this I sound like an asssaying this but)...

Get off your lazy *** and put the time and research in and make a S/C. If your tring to find a used one.. good luck tring to get a Centrifugal for under 1500.

here's the idea...you buy the supercharger, you fab the bracket can go where the old AC was at. Then you fab the up pipe, put the MAF on the intake piping, and have the prom customed burned. Then have fun.

Both are right

:hail:
You both are kind of right! not bad for my first post I only want the s/c so I can mfg. bracket to locate s/c above ac pump, I have designed the air inlet to take fresh air from inner cooler that gets its air from scoop mounted on side of car the prom will be burned by hyper chip when I get to that point. that why I am just looking for the s/c and 1500 isn't bad if I could find one!

or you can get the e-ram for about $315-$320 shipped. its not alot of boost but it adds something. i got one just to try it out. it puts out like three pounds at like 750cfm. its alright for the money because the powerdyne only puts out like 6 pounds of boost for $2500-$3000. if you want you can find one and make it work but you are going to spend a **** load of money doing it

About a year ago there was a post about a roots type blower for a 2.8 blazer. I would try going that route or fabricating connections to hook up a "brainfade on the brandname" centrifugal supercharger for a V8 TPI. That ECharger came up also a while back and its total junk! You actually get more boost from a properly routed cold air induction system which would produce more than 750CFM worth of flow. As far as the $320 it could be better spent with an N2O system that would produce more power. But hell if the echarger does anygood then let me know.

Note. I personally beleive N2O is for *******!

I love this bench-racing-spouted BS... I'd love to hear your reasons. "All throttle no bottle"? "Bottles are for babies"? Is that why the guys making the big money racing the 1/4 mile use nitrous? (laughs) Was Mike Moran a puss when he ran nitrous? (I suppose he's now a bigger puss for doing a quad turbo setup, eh?) Do Pat Musi and Tony Christian fall in that category too? Wow, that's a hell of a boast you're making! But hey, what do those guys know, eh?

hehehe, this is great Tom's getting pissy...... finals time? jk tom, i respect the hell outta ya, ya know your stuff and know it very very well.....As we all know a turbo swap onto a v6 f-body that's not a TTA motor is going to be extensivily difficult to do, most parts will be fabbed, even if you can get parts from that 2.8L fiero project, you'll still be fabricating parts to match, and the same will happen with a supercharger. The only bonus of the supercharger setup is that there is less work to actually be fabricated, a tad bit, but the computer will still needed to be modded for that boost factor, fuel system upgrades, ignition upgrades, etc. All in all it'll be fun, but its gonna be a hefty project for anyone who doesn't have multiple vehicles to drive. Good luck gentlemen, and i hope to see a SC'ed or Turbo Firebird/camaro running around here soon, but more likely it'd be much further downthe road, but still....hopefull, someone's gotta have the ***** to do it.

the e-ram shouldnt be hard to put on its an electric supercharger that i dont have to belt drive it or have any oil lines. it doesnt put out alot of boost. it only puts out like 3lbs. i just got it to try it out im going to put it in the air intake. its got a relay so it is only going to turn on when im getting on it im going to put the switch under my gas pedal. i will let you now how it goes though when i put it on. i can get a belt driven one bubt im going to spen a **** load of money doing it thats why i got the e-ram. some dude got one and it put out like 9 horsepower to the wheels on his contour

OH my ***...someone wasted their money on an electric supercharger?????

Really...you should have asked some people here before you did that. You'll love it at idle, hate it at any other throttle position. It can't force enough air into the engine and actually becomes a restriction.
