Oil Presure question?

I know that the OIL presure is suposed to up the high the RPMs, but latly my car as found a new trick. Oil presure rids on the high mark and when you mash it from a take off the oil presure drops some then goes back up to the high mark after you let off the gas. My oil presure used to ride on the mide mark unless I mashed the pedle.

Is this a sign of impending doom for my engine, or oil pump???

probably a bad sending unit... I know s-10's are notorious for the gauge's sending unit going bad

My oil sender was replaced in January of this year. It was my 2nd one I have gone through. The first was due to all of the oil my car was leaking. It just covered it in oil and fried it. I'm thinking it might be clogged oil filter. It is time to change the oil any ways so I am going to swap the filter this weekend. This time I am not going to use a Fram filter. I have never had a filter cloge up like this before, becuase I change my oil every 3000 miles on the mark and the filters all ways out last the oil. well this last time used the cheapy Fram filter. I gueess you get what you pay for!!!
