There's no aftermarket intakes for the 2.8/3.1 MPFI motor. If you search this forum, you'll find tons of information. The search button is located in the upper right hand corner of the screen, below the advertisements.

I have that CAI on my car. The reason I opted for that was simply because it looks stock even though it isn't.... I also gained performance as well as a lower exhaust note from it. Here's some pictures.

@#%&!!! My car is a freak! I've gotta be the only one with the radiator hose on the passenger side. Started on my air intake today and it's right in the way. I'll work around it though somehow. Gotta get some more stuff tomorrow anyway.

chip for 3.1 lit

They sell a chip for 3.1 Lit V6 Firebirds at www.FastToys.net. It makes you'r car run off 91 octane gas and is suppose to improve automatic transmission shifts.I don't know if it's any good i'd like to though cuz i thought about buyi'n one when i get done maki'n some repairs. There about 180 bucks i think and they said something about custom tuning for an additional 100.They do make a cold air intake for a 3.1 lit V6 don't they? and if so does anyone know how much HP it adds?.....Andy:lala:

oh yeah the CAI for the 3.1 is on the slp performance site!

i was looking at a camaro page and the guy had done a custom dual air inatake setup using dual K&N cone filters and a battery relocal kit........ does that add more hp or no
just a question....

Real simple quick check/fix.
FOR TESTING
Hot wire fan motor to battery.
See what happens.
If nothing, motor dead.
Mine was, $30, Autozone/ten min swap.
IF motor go zoom, it's a problem before the fan motor. Start back tracking wiring.
