heater core bypass
anyone else find them self doing the heater core bypass when it get warm out???
even with everything shut off, and only while moving air still comes through the system bring hot @$$ air with it. making me sweat big time, I thought last year the car seamed about 40 degrees hotter than out side.
guess why?
any clues as to where air is still finding a way in, even with every thing shut off? the slider is on cool.
I had to do the bypass near the alternator where i could get at the hoses. and it worked, i still get air through the systtem while moving but it is not hot anymore. faster i go the more air comes through.

i havent done it, but i did find an 88 IROC-Z for sale with a heater core bypass, it was because the heater core was leaking though, not meant as a performance upgrade
i doubt that it would give any more power
i really dont think its worth the trouble.............
