Ask them if they will toss in the Golden Gate Bridge with that deal!!

That is WWWAAAYYYY to high!! Do you self a favor and goto a parts store and pick up an OEM coil, or hell even an aftermarket hipo will be cheaper. Depending on wether or not the coil has ever been changed before or the year of the car you may need to chisle or drill out the rivets that hold it in place. Don't worry though the new coil will come with new brakets, bolts and nuts to hold in place.

To give you an idea on how badly they are over charging you here are some prices from Kregan Auto parts Also know as Checkers and Schucks in other parts of the nation.

GP SORENSEN cheapy OEM type $14.99 P/N# GC408

ACCEL supper coil (I have this one) $35.99 P/N# 140011

Some cost more some are cheaper like the A/C Delco replacment coil is something $47, but is still less then $150 they want for the cheapest posible coil they can lay there hands on.

You can also get a GM Blaster coil from MSD, part #8226. It even mounts in the stock location.

But yeah, changing the coil yourself is a breeze. Toughest part is getting the rivets out.
