Supercharger pics

This is the supercharger I plan on trying to put on my 89 2.8 firebird.
I have to make a mounting bracket to put it where the smog pump would usually go. I also have to change the pulley over to a serpentine belt pulley . I plan on using the existing airbox and put an adapter on the charger so I can run a hose to the airbox.

My question is should I put the MAF sensor on the output side of the charger or on the inlet side.
I probably wont start on this project for a few weeks , but any input of ideas would be great.

Yeah my father got it in the early 80s . He put it on his ford pickup to try it . He says it made too much noise and the carb. needed to be rejetted for it. He had the hose running to his factory air cleaner and the turbines exposed , I think thats why it was so noisy. It has been shelved ever since, thats why its so dirty. I think it will work well with the MPFI because the Computer should compensate for the changes.

Thanks for the info on the MAF.

depends on how much psi ur gonna make outta that one..

id say go for atleast 19lb/hr injectors and a fuel pressure regulator u won regret it ...

and i strongly suggest if ur gonna use that thing go for a toothed belt ..that serpentine or v belt thats gonna use is gonna slip @ some point ....well im still trying to put a honda waterpump toothed pulley on camaro_hunters supercharger shaft ..lookin @ some machine shops here but most of them are either ridiculously expensive or downright stupid (know nothing about what im asking)
(mayeb ill end up machining another shaft where the pulley goes in ..)

(tip : honda accord waterpump pulley and cam shaft pulley (maybe 2 camshaft pulleys) might be a good starting pioint)

in ur case first try the v belt since it already has the pulley for it
