Question ... i have a 92 rs 3.1 with 94500 miles on it. I have a K&N , custom 3" cai, TB bypass, and Bosch platinums. My exhaust is fully stock and my car is often mistaked for a 305 ... (the low performance tbi that is) I have many people ask me what type of flowmaster is that... and i respond.... IT'S STOCK. So my question is, if i buy a hi flow converter, will the sound or volume of the car change. Sounds like your car was like mine. I had a hole in the intermediate pipe between the cat and the muffler, making the car sound beefier... when realistically it was leaking exhaust fumes into the car! After I was notified of this, and it was fixed, the car did not sound nearly as kewl. That's when I decided to needed a cat back system... AFTER paying for the pipe to be fixed....
