Strut tower bars

I have been watching the postings on the james strut tower bar, but seen a hotckis stb on ebay that I love the looks of, and looks more stable. However it is not reommened for the v6 car, why is this?? To stable, hit the upper intake, or will it work and thier full of ?? Thanks

I dont' know.....honestly none were made for the V6. Spohn was (IIRC) going to see about making one, but didn't have a v6 car to test on and nobody ever dropped their car off. For the price on the Jamex, a lot of us took a chance, and it just happened to fit.

Ok I got a dumb question here. I m a CAD Drafter by trade. I sit in front of this computer 9 hours a day. I ve searched everywhere for the dimensions on the brakets. If I knew the height of the brakets. I could draw up and fab some strut tower braces for a few people. Kinda like CHC did w/ the headers. I mean when I got nothing to do here in front of this computer. I could be out in the shop doing a "Govt." job . So if someone will help me out here I ll get started on it asap. I ve even looked in my chitlon's book for a dimension when the hood is shut ......nothing.
