Do you need the front or back, and why do you need them ( were they rusted out??)

i know mine were and fixed them up with sheet metal and that rocker guard stuff, worked fine

Rocker guard is a mircle product in The rusty Atlantic provinces. It hides so much for those pesky inspections.

yeah, but roof patch is even better

when i fixed the holes in my floor with rivets and sheet metal they tiold me to cover it all up with roof patch so they cou;dn't see it, then i passed the inspection next day, it makes it look cool too, all black under the floor

I AM NOT BEING MEAN,
but, it's hard to not know what a rust problem is, anymore, since I moved to CA from back east.
Sounds like great solutions and cheap. I assume you do need the back wheel wells.
Fronts are $10 in CA wrecking yards.

Canada inspects cars for rust?? What if you don't pass?

Karl, you suck! Actually, maybe Jersey sucks... too much rain, not enough bikinis.

Look to http://www.por-15.com for a great rust-stopping chemical. I used it on my axle; easy to apply. And yeah, confucious, if you need rear wheel wells, welding them in might be the only way. Er, wait, I take that back. Look at http://www.eastwoodcompany.com , and put in part # 31102 . That might be what you want.

(Keep in mind you can buy their arc-welding kit for $229, check out part # 19266 . Going with MIG will cost you $400 for a quality MIG and $100 for a bottle; it's the best way, but it'll cost. I have a Lincoln Electric MIG... you can find no-name ones cheaper.)

I heard that tomP. I have yet to see some bikini girls out n about this year. I usually see TONS of them. Maybe I need to try going to the lake, but I usually see them driving around in their mustangs with the tops down.

Well sort of for Rust.
There is a yearly inspection in the Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario I believe. The western provinces Alberta, BC, Manitoba do not have this, they only have to get there car inspected when it is being sold to another person. But BC has SMOG inspection.

In the maritimes we have so much salt on our roads things like E-brakes are a real pain for seizing up, bleeders in brakes usually mean buy a new cylinder cause they seize up so quick, your door bottoms are gone quick, as well as rocker pannels, and most cars you see are not more then 12 years old.

What the inspection consist of is checks for holes in floors, trunks doors, exhaust for your safety. They check all your lights, E-brake, brakes lines for problems. They check seat belts, ball joints, all front end assembly, tire wear and theres more, I am just forgetting.

If you do not pass you can get a reject sticker Its good for 15 days.( I had one of my firebird for a bad idler arm.) You have 15 days to fix the problems with your car, then it can be reinspected. If there is no chance of fixing it, your car is taken off the road.

Ked you do SUCK! (Joking, but the rust free cars make me jealous)

TomP keep telling yourself I am a married man, I do not want to look at chicky's in bikini's.

Man if only you guys knew where I was now working...... U can ask me by email.....if you are over 18.

Honest, I was just in San Francisco, last week Thurs & Sunday night.
Even up there, where it gets "Chilly"
Damn! They are BABES!
Swear, they grow like weeds out here. Go to a Mall during summer in San Fernando Valley.....WHIPLASH!!!
Thank G0D for GREAT CALIFORNIA WEATHER & GREAT GENES!!! AND LOW HIP HUGGER JEANS! When they gonna bring back Hot Pants!

Really hurts to see my wrecking yard friend toss out a whole Surburban (1990's vintage) cause the solid metal weight is worth more....
I recall seeing a Ford LTD (1969 vintage, while I was visiting Canada in 1973) with the door skin flapping in the wind due to rust.

I was born in Plainfield, maybe that's why I ran as far away as possible!

Really wish I knew of a cheap way to send back rust free stuff.
