You'd be much better off spending that extra $300 on a V8 motor. From the PAW catalog, they wanted an extra $300 for forged pistons for either a 2.8 or 3.1, never looked up a 3.4, but I assume the price increase is the same.

If all else fails, you can get KB pistons to make you a custom set. They are pricey, but they will make a set any way you want. My friend had to get a custom set made for his 2.2 Liter Chrysler common block turbo buildup. They cost him about $500 for four of 'em!

I dont want a V8. TomP, why must u always say, GET A V8? i dont want a V8, i want to do a V6 buildup, to many V8's in my area, beat them with a 6 is something that would get me props and make me happy. I dont want a V8, i just wanted to know if anyone made forged internals. but on the other hand, what is the PAW catalog? thanks. money isnt an issue. I have a T3 turbo and my friend can get me a usedT61 for 2 grand, i was looking at the T61 and its huge, the t3 isnt, so i figure, 3 for low end, 61 top end. Call me pig headed, but its what i want to do

There are cams out there, like by http://www.cranecams.com , but keep in mind that none are certified to be emissions legal. They might pass emissions, and the specs seem to say that they will- but none have an EO (executive order) number. If you're in a state that's really strict about emissions, you might not want to put a cam in. And actually, after all the miles and wear and tear on our old motors, a new stock camshaft might provide a gain, too! I bet my cam lobes are worn down to almost nothing after 238,000+ miles.

TomP, sorry if i sounded like a dick, its just that i always see u say that. Now after thinking about money u were right, i could spend the extra 300 and get the LT1. Besides, i looked, there is like no where to put turbos in the camaro v6.

Myself and my bro-in-law are putting forged flat tops from a 350 in my new creation. Thats just in case I decide to use a lil' NOS . But I will be putting a cam in my new 3.4 I m thinking about going w/ crower cams for my car they are pretty resonable price wise and they use your own and go from there. CHC turned me on too them. But like you said I wanna build a 6 and burn some rice along the way
