Havn't finished it... it just needs to be covered one more time and a final sanding, then another polishing and it's done...
Needless to say I also han't had it on my car...

Been a few weeks since I looked at mine. Can you tell me what is special about it. Did you bore it out?? If so it looks good.

On either side of the TB, there are very large cavities... one that does -nothing-, one that serves are a scoup for the IAC.
The one that does nothing (left side of the pic) has been filled completely in, the one for the IAC (Right side) has been filled in drastically, and the whole port has been smoothed in and contoured. The IAC will still function (if not a few clicks more open) and hopefully the TB will have a bigger "scoup" effect now that the useless holes are gone.
I'm using stuff called Plastic Aluminum... along the same lines are JB weld... only you don't have to mix it...
If any of you do this.. you're going to need patients... Do not try to do this in a few days... it'll take -at least- a week... spread thin layers, and let it thoroughly dry... One time when I was grinding it to the shape I wanted, a layer chipped off because it was layered too thick... after that I layed down several thin layers and them them dry very well... went back and ground it to what I wanted... went back with the polishing scrub on my Dremel and some Rouge, and polished it up... That is the result...
I'll spread another layer of Liquid Aluminum and polish it before I put it on... Don't hold your breath for this to be done, I don't know where the tube is...

Looks great, Xeno! How did you finish the top of the IAC's hole? Is it angled or polished or just left alone? (Can't tell from the pic) Planning on boring the TB out at all?

Oops, wrong forum. Haha Is that still the 48mm bore? Why not simply bore out those things in the inside?

It's polished, and the shape is pretty much left alone... however I made a "ramp" so to speak for the air to go up into it starting from the front of the TB...
The problem with boring it... I can not for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to get that throttle plate crosspiece out, and then back in again...
If I could get it out... I'd go out and buy a brake/small bore honing stone and hook that sucker up... it would sure beat polishing that thing by hand!
