Anybody looking for a nice T5?
Anybody looking for a nice T5?
I know it's not the classifieds, but you would be the people who'd need it / want it.
86-87 Camaro 2.8 T-5 with bellhousing and shifter. Had 60k original miles on it when pulled. My next door neighbor bought it for a project truck he had, truck is sold. He'd like to just get his money back......$250 and it's yours.
Email me at ctandc@comcast.net
Thanks
Chris

Nope, he's not pulling my leg, and if you can get 60k ORIGINAL mile tranny's ( I looked at the car it came out of, and verified the mileage via the DMV ) for $125, then more power to you.
It would only take blowing up one of those $125 tranny's to realize $250 is a good deal for a CLEAN, LOW MILE tranny. Not a question mark from a junker, and it's the later model with the updates.

if you pull the stuff they will let it slide for even less just to get ride of it. one day i got a whole front end off a bike, all the body pieces, both rims, a 5.0 plenium and a bunch of other small crap i threw in the pile and got it all for 30 bucks.

the swap is straightforward like everything was supposed to be there already........which technically is true
bleeding the hydraulics can be a PITA sometimes, but its not hard to do the swap
That must be nice Gumby.....
While I have some GOOD U-Pull It yards near me, the one's that do get alot of good stuff, get picked over by the guys who work there.
And alot of those guys take the parts and advertise them for sale locally to make some more cash.
That's the way it works I guess.
You haven't run across a cheap 145 mph Camaro speedo have you?
