Oil Pressure

Another quick question...what's a normal engine's oil pressure at a warm idle? And how about at a steady speed, warm engine cruise?

Mine's about 20-25 psi at idle and a little over 40 at cruise.

Just wondering cause mine seems too low to be normal.

Mine runs around 40-60 when moving and at 40 or a tad below idling, when it start to drop below 40 and stays there it time for an oil and filter change.

I just did my oil the other day but didnt grab a filter, so its still a tad under 40 but a new filter should fix that up. I run the mobil1 filter and they are like 12 bucks I didnt have.

I also run 20-50 year round.

but any oil pressure is good, I think tomp said before that his drops around 0 when not moving.

but honestly long as it get near 40 when moving or when really needed its ok, 30 is ok, 20 I would start saving for a new engine but still then it could last forever.

My self I already have plans for buying a new motor but not till this one dies. And since it still runs so good [208,000+], im considering spending a few buck of the engine money, buy a NOS and run 150hp shot till she lets lose or sets some records.
