ARe they good products, they ran me 45 bux altogether at the local speed shop

The Accel wires...ehh, they're ok. Definitely good enough for your application..8mm is plenty, especially for stock ignition which I assume you're running right now. Never tried the Accel U-grooves..a buddy of mine with a 305 HO Trans-Am bought them but he hasn't put them in yet. I'd like to hear how they work since I need new plugs too and I hear they're priced pretty decent.

but why are they just ok? whats a better product than theM?

If I don't know about the quality of them in terms of materials and longevity, I just know there are brands out there with less ohms of resistance... MSD has insanely low....but they cost an insanely high amount..and they really aren't that good looking wires! I hate how they had to throw their name on the boots.... Ugh...UGLY!
