RS Turbo...HA!

I just had to post this..I WISH I had a photo, I really do. I was walking through a parking lot maybe 2 days ago, and saw a bright red Camaro..body was in decent condition but nowhere near mine, and mine sure aint mint...it was in fairly junky shape...and I noticed the back badge was removed from the bumper...and the two side badges read "RS" and had "Turbo" in cursive or slashy style writing written next to it...I damn near fell over laughing...but the curiosity is killing me.. What if this was the lost Turbo RS that everyone has been searching for? Wish I could've found the person so I could get them to pop their hood and know for sure... Ah well....maybe some mysteries are better unsolved! I know the mods are going to lock this up as pointless..but come on now, it's interesting isnt it?

I would have been crawling all under it and stuff trying to figure it out. You should have left a note or something "Hey man, I just saw your car and was curious... is it turbocharged or are you an IDIOT???

I think I would've stayed at his car all day until the guy came back, just so I could laugh at him. I doubt it was true. What a shame; it's guys like that who make us V6'ers look like wanna-be's.

He probably put the turbo badge on it because it sounded cool.
Just my opinion.

I got my friend a turbo badge that he put on his Tempo. So there you go. And now that the Tempo is retired its on his computer monitor.

The ONLY part that made me wonder is the fact that it looks like the turbo was PART of the RS logo, like he had an RS badge custom made with turbo slapped on it. But the rest....the condition of the car mainly....ehhhh? And Gumby..what good would I have with his VIN or plate? VIN, well I know they didn't make any factory RS Turbos, so I don't see the point in writing that down...and plate...well...the only point I see in either would be in some odd stroke of luck seeing the guy on a car site or something, but I don't know one that asks for your VIN or plate to join??

you could use that VIN to find out where he lives.

Maybe he took a logo off a DSM (some of them were RS's) or a japanese car.

Im trying to be real nice but do you smoke crack????

you star tthe thread about seeing a fabled car and don't even both to find out if it is or not. a vin can be ran for his info, and his plate could get his phone number??? I mean you could of found gold, even though it was most likley dirt. But you still check it out.

Yea your thread should be locked.

It doesnt matter if its real or not, when you see what oculd be the holy grail of cars, you dam better do more than just say I saw it but didn't have enough brain power to investagate it.

sorry dude I hate to be so rude but dam, can you get a clue.

If you see a 20ft by 20ft bolder of gold, even though you know it can't be real, you still check it out.

all the love for ya as a fellow thirdgener but dam, hello..........

-----------

I think your best move is to just admit you never saw anything and just wanted some attention so you started this thread. I would have more respct for ya.... Did you even see the car???

Ha ha.....you think I gave it a second thought at the time? Not really. I thought "stupid moron, trying to pretend he has a turbo", and continued on my merry way into Home Depot. It wasn't until I got home that I went over the what-ifs of it.

See if ya can't buy and shove a BOV in there somewhere and wire it to a push-button, so every shift or release of throttle, PSSSHHHT!
