Heads

Anyone know of anyone who sells HIGH FLOW heads with the larger valves for our engines besides GM performance parts?
Thanks
David

how big are you looking to go on valves? GM made two different heads for the 60* v6s. one type had 1.60" int. and 1.307" exh. and the other type had 1.718" int. and 1.425" ex. you should be able to run across a set of these heads (with bigger valves) if that's the size you're looking for then port and polish then and have a decent set to bolt on. there is a pretty noticable difference in the port sizes on the two types.

If you purchased the OTC 3.4 this would be a moot point.
At $1,700 total cost it's worth it and it's all brand new w/12,000 mile warranty.
Only diff in a 2.8/3.1 MPFI head compared to a 3.4 SFI head is the more meat in the valve spring pocket area & better springs.
Invest in the GM Performance Parts book for a measly $6 to find out the answers
Any GM dealer.
Probably can negotiate the OTC 3.4 price down, too, same time.
Can't beat brand new.
My response isn't dealing with the carb'd 2.8 head, at all.
