Switch to Speed Density

Is there a way to do it for the 2.8l V6 in an '88 camaro RS. Does anyone know if this is "emissions" legal in California? If it's possible, how would I go about doing it?

Yes it is possible to convert. I wouldn't know if it were emissions legit in California. The one difference that I am aware of is the EGR. The 90-92 SD setups use a digital EGR. So you would have to swap that over too.

Just get the EGR from the same car you get the ECM & harness from. Grab the MAP sensor also.

I do know that the TPI guys that do the conversion's are quite glad they did.

Sorry, but the last time I checked, anything that didn't come stock on YOUR car (meaning your exact car, not any of the same make/model) is illegal in California.

(I won't even get started on my opinion of THAT state.........)

But if I were you, I'd assume that no one doing the inspeccion is going to care, or even know the difference.
