v6 gas mileage, sorry this has nothing to do with this

hey, sorry this thread has nothing to do with a camaro, but my v6 truck ford f150 is getting 5 miles to the gallon!!! which is really really bad, it has never done this bad, im not sure what could be wrong, its not loosing any power i dont believe, what can be done to improve the gas mileage??? thank you, and so sorry this is not suppose to be on here,

do a general tune up, check timing, look for leaky injectors and other fuel leaks, check o2 sensor. is there gas in your oil or crankcase? also make sure you gas tank itself doesnt have a small hole or other leak.

nope, no oil there, it doesnt burn oil either, thats what i dont get, the engine has 100,xxx, and has had a recent tune up,

well check the other stuff, 5mpg is really bad and sounds like you are leaking gas somewhere. any stains where you usually park it?

no gas stains anywhere, im thinking bout ditching the engine, i cant afford spending 50 bucks a week on driving it, lol,
