msd wires for v6 on ebay, can we use these?

msd wires for v6 on ebay, can we use these?

saw this and wanted to make sure.

these will work on my 2.8 - 88 right?

Yep, that's the 6 cyl set for our motors... cut/crimp your own ends, so you make the wires to the length you want. Before you go crazy bidding though, keep in mind that SummitRacing.com wants $73.95 for MSD-31179 ... and $75.95 for MSD-31199. 31199 is the 8 cyl set, with two extra wires- two wires for $2... can't beat that! So if the bid goes up to $75, stop bidding and go to Summit!

Wow, MSD's are 75 bucks now. I only paid $40 for mine for a 71 Ford Cleveland 351. Of course they were the socket style so I had to modify those to fit the HEI, but the plugs were loose fitting around the distributor so I just got some universal HEI distributor boots to make them fit tight like they should have.

I just cut them (slightly longer than than my current Crane Cams) and crimped and cut them and I got them back on my car.
